On the 9th of January we had packed our house up and made the exciting, but long seven and a half hour drive to our new home, Coleambally.
Some facts on Coleambally:
- Small town in the Riverina of New South Wales with a population of about 660
- Established in 1968, making it one of the newest towns in New South Wales
- Main industry is rice growing, but also wheat, maize and other crops.
Driving to a new town that we were moving into was something I'd never experienced before, I'd spent my whole life on the Central Coast of New South Wales. It was so exciting to drive into the town for the first time.
