The first night in the house was a little odd however. Our furniture wasn't arriving till the next morning, so all we had in the house was a rather dodgy air mattress. We felt like squatters. Once our furniture arrived the next morning it was a frenzy of unpacking and organising. Setting up our new home was exciting, and it surprised us both how easily and neatly our furniture suited this new home.
It has been over a month since moving in, and one by one we had sorted the rooms out. They are getting there, it's a project I am happy to continue for some time. But it is our little family home now and we are happy in our little Gingerbread House.
